GUIDE OF THE YEAR!!:

Pablo,
Hope this find you and yours happy and well. Just a quick note to thank you for a wonderful time here in Ecuador, and looking forward to seeing you before we leave for home. Had an easy drive to the coast (made it in two hours) and have been just relaxing and enjoying time alone with Marci. Still not sure about the spa thing yet. Much to do here at Coco Beach . Had a nice afternoon in Canoa, met both the David’s while there. Business tomorrow with David Blank here. Once home we’ll put our heads together and get a good business plan setup for you. Again thanks soooooooooooooo much !!!!!

MORE REFERENCES BY PATRICIA ADAMS AND DEBBIE JONES

Patricia Adams Farmer. We are having a wonderful time here with Pablo. He's taking us around town on a whirlwind shopping tour. Today we see our attorney. I don't know what we would do without Pablo to guide and translate. It's been a wonderful experience!

Debbie Jones Dubbois. I suspect Pablo will be getting a lot of referral business. :D It's just great to know there is someone available and reliable that that can help us maneuver through the big transition. I'm looking forward to hearing about your shopping spree! Especially the bed part. :D

WORK REFERENCES 1 / CLIENTS REPORTS CBV"S

Pablo, some feedback for you posted by Kelly on the Coco Beach Village facebook group page today, "

We just got back from a fabulous day of touring in Quito. Pablo was a wonderful tour guide. We had a great lunch of typical ecuadorean mountain style food. Pablo was so accommodating to whatever we wanted to include in our tour. He taught so much about the history of the city and of Ecuador in general and we went to the fruit and vegetable market (my request so I could learn about some of the tropical fruits). I would recommend him to anyone that has time in Quito. Thanks Lesli for the recommendation!"

Lesli

Blog from aroun Febr. 11/ 2011:
"....On day two (kitties STILL sequestered under the bed), we begin the herculean task of buying things to outfit our unfurnished home in Bahia de Caraquez.  Bahia (the beautiful seaside city where we plan to live while our home at Coco Beach Village is being built) has limited shopping, so we have a long list. And we’re starting from scratch. We only have three days, and those three days must include an appointment with our attorney, a meeting with our architect, and the purchase of a cell phone.  How to accomplish all this in three days?!
Pablo. Pablo is how we accomplish this in three days. Pablo Prado is not only an Ecuador tour guide, photographer, and translator with over 20 years of experience, but he is also a logistics expert who can get you anywhere at anytime. He can handle any problem with finesse, check off all the things on your list, and still manage unhurried meals with coffee at great restaurants. Part of his secret is preparing ahead of time. With e-mails shooting back and forth between us, he set up appointments, mapped out the stores we needed, and worked out the best deals for shopping and transporting our things to Bahia.  Because Pablo knows pretty much everybody in Quito and Bahia—or knows someone who knows someone—he is able to get things done right.

FROM THEIR  blog :

After the long flight, these two spoiled angels will need lots of TLC.  We even hired Pablo Prado ofPablo Prado Tours Fotografia  to meet us at the airport with tuna fish and a litter box in hand. Do we love our cats or what?   Pablo has a beautiful Siamese cat of his own and understands such requests.

Adopted as CBV’s favorite guide, Pablo Prado(find him on facebook!)with his excellent English, will be shuttling us all over Quito as we shop for our apartment. He has carefully prepared our “shopping tour” in Quito so that we won’t waste any time. After our shopping excursion, he and another driver will be taking us and all our things to Bahia.  Knowing Pablo is waiting for us on the other end, helps us sleep soundly this last week.

Oh, and speaking of sleep, we found out that Tempur Pedic is now in Ecuador.  Pablo is going to take us directly to the store in Quito. The vision of crashing on a Tempur Pedic  after weeks on a lumpy hotel mattress, keeps us going!

Well, that's a snapshop of our last things.  And last things are only the beginning of first things . . .
